The total value of infrastructure development contracts awarded by Qatar since the beginning of 2014 reached more than QAR 26 billion, according to a report by Al Asmakh Real Estate Development.
These contracts included infrastructure development projects worth QAR 22.6 billion and building projects (QAR 2.5 billion), in addition to projects for the operation and maintenance of roads (QAR 762 million), the report stated.
It added that the entities responsible for infrastructure development in Qatar signed last week 12 contracts at a total value of around QAR 5.5 billion.
